Equipment maintenance process

The maintenance of equipment is the basic work to reduce wear and make the equipment work in good technical condition. The basic requirements of daily maintenance are: the operator should use the equipment in strict accordance with the operating procedures, often observe the operation of the equipment, should maintain the integrity of the equipment, neat accessories, safety protection device is complete, the integrity of the line and the pipeline; Frequently wipe the various parts of the equipment to maintain no oil dirt, no oil leakage and flexible operation;

I.The equipment boot

Check whether the power supply,the electrical control switches and the torsion are safe and reliable; Whether the position of each control mechanism, transmission part, block and limit switch is normal; Whether the lubrication of each sliding part is good. After confirming that everything is normal, starting the test operation. Check the various parts of the working conditions when the time of starting and test running to measure whether there is abnormal phenomenon and sound.

II. Water replacement and the cleaning of the water tank (it is recommended to clean the water tank and replace the circulating water once a week)

Note: Make sure the laser tube is filled with circulating water before the machine works.

The water quality and temperature of the circulating water directly affect the service life of the laser tube. It is recommended to use pure water and control the water temperature below 35℃. If more than 35℃ need to replace the circulating water, or adding ice to the water to reduce the temperature of the water.

Cleaning the water tank: first turn off the power supply, unplugging the water inlet pipe to let the water in the laser tube automatically flow into the water tank. Then open the water tank, taking out the pump and remove the dirt on the pump. Clean the water tank, replacing the circulating water and restore the water pump to the water tank. Insert the water pipe connected to the water pump into the water inlet, and arrange the joints. Power up the pump separately and run it for 2-3 minutes (to fill the laser tube with circulating water).

III. The use of the fan

The use of the fan for a long time will cause the accumulation of a lot of solid dust inside the fan, which will make the fan produce a lot of noise, and is not conducive to exhaust and odor removal. When the fan suction is insufficient and the smoke is not smooth, firstly turn off the power supply, removing the air inlet pipe and the air outlet pipe on the fan. Remove the dust inside, and then stand the fan upside down . After that , pulling the inside of the blade until clean, and then install the fan. And regular cleaning according to the usage.

IV. Lens cleaning

It is recommended to clean before work every day. It must be operated when the equipment is in power off state.

Cleaning of the focusing lens: rotate the focusing lens from the lens frame, bending the wiping paper into several folds and wet it with professional cleaning liquid or anhydrous alcohol, and gently wipe the surface of the lens with the wet lens paper several times until the mirror is clean.

Note:

(1) The lens should be gently wiped . Do not damage the surface coating;

(2) The wiping process should be handled gently to prevent falling;

(3) Please make sure that the convex surface of the focusing mirror is upward when installing it.

V. Guide rail cleaning (It is recommended to clean every half a month, please shut down to operation)

Guide rail and straight axis, as the core parts of the equipment, due to the different work piece materials, some special material can produce a large number of corrosive in the processing of dust and smoke, has a great influence on the accuracy and life of the equipment . In order to ensure the stable machine is normal work and the great quality of processed products, it must be in accordance with the regulations for the daily maintenance of guide rail, straight axis.

Note: Please prepare dry cotton cloth and lubricating oil to clean the guide rail

First in order to ensure that the machine is in the case of power failure , moving the laser head to the far right (or far left), wiping with dry cotton until bright clean (with the help of kerosene cleaning), and then use lubricating oil (sewing machine oil can be used, do not use oil), pushing the laser head around slowly a few times, so that the lubricating oil can be evenly distributed.

VI . Fastening of screws and couplings

Equipment in use for a period of time, should be checked the connection, to avoid connecting screws, coupling loosed , which affects the stability of mechanical movement . So in the operation of the machine to observe whether the transmission parts have abnormal sound or abnormal phenomenon, found problems to be timely fastened and maintained. At the same time , the equipment should be used for a certain period of time with the tool to tighten all of the screws. The first inspection should be conducted one month after the use of the equipment and should be conducted every three months.

VII. Laser tube cleaning

1, Pay attention to protect the output window of the laser, to avoid smoke sputtering to the output window surface during the working process (including the process of debugging the light path), and prevent the external surface of the output window from being polluted, resulting in power decline, then you can use absorbable cotton or silk cloth dipped in anhydrous alcohol to gently wipe the external surface of the output window;

2, pay attention to clean up the dust and oil stains of the laser tube, to avoid dust accumulation near the high pressure electrode to result in high pressure lighting. Power should be turned off when do the clean.

VIII. Notes for daily operation

(1) Use the equipment in strict accordance with the operating procedures. There can be no illegal operation.

(2) Do not place workmen, gauges, clamps, cutting tools, workpieces and raw materials on the equipment. Ensure that the movable guide rail surface and guide rail surface joint without chip, dust, oil, rust, and other phenomena.

(3) When the equipment is running, there must be professional operation, rigorous off-duty, unattended and other phenomena.

(4) When the equipment fails, the power supply should be cut off in time and professional maintenance workers should be contacted; strictly prohibit boot to avoid the secondary damage phenomenon.

(5) When the machine stops working, the machine should be wiped and fully maintained , and the equipment should be cleaned inside and outside . The work site should be cleaned neatly, and the ground should be free from oil and garbage; Equipment accessories are complete and be properly kept and clean.

In order to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and prolong its service life, the equipment operators shall carry out daily maintenance. It is stipulated that the operators shall carry out equipment maintenance before the end of each shift and a certain period before holidays . For the equipment that cannot be shut down for maintenance in continuous operation, regular maintenance should be carried out to complete the work content stipulated in the maintenance rules and meet the requirements.

I have purchased a CR90 laser tube and the Cloudray 100W MYJG power supply, which both included NO instructions. Yet, this article says “to use the equipment in strict accordance with the operating procedures”, but completely NO instructions or printed manual was included with either component. Is there any user manuals for these items, or for even similar items? It is very irregular to not provide a user manual in the west. It is also very difficult to understand this article in many places since it was apparently not written by a native english speaker and is confusing because of strange terms and language which is not ‘normal’. Can you hire a native english speaker to review the communications to assure they can be understood?
With the cooling of the laser tube, what is the ‘proper’ temperature to operate the coolant at, or what range is acceptable? What flow rate is suggested both minimum and maximum, as well as pressure limits to the coolant inside the system? What thermal rejection rate in watts is necessary to protect the tube? I hear of other people using ice packs in a cooler, but can this crack the laser tube? Are there dangers to the power supply by some bad operations? I have no informations to operate safely, please help.
Thank you.
