When I ordered the 5W UV P laser, I saw the Lightburn logo prominently displayed, which is why I chose your brand. You make a lot of production videos with Lightburn software, but for my machine, you tell me it only works with your in-house CLOUDRAY CAD software, which is purely a gas factory… Impractical, and there are no getting started tutorials or e-learning training.
Does anyone have a tutorial to get started with this software?
I agree i’m getting a little annoyed myself with no videos, not being able to at least use lightburn for subsurface engraving I feel robbed I paid almost $200 dollars for a software that does me no good

I am having the same issue. I am not happy with the cloudray software at all. All the SVG and PNG files i try to import come in as a black box. The vector files I import do not hatch correctly and it is causing a big issue. I tried looking in the software manual that came with the machine but the software does not match up. Has anyone been able to get lightburn connected to their UV-P-5w laser or figured out how to use the cloudray software?
With the 5W UV P laser, it's not possible to use Lightburn; the controller board isn't recognized.
You have to use RK CAD, the software that came with the machine.
It's quite complicated to learn.
I'm having a few sessions with Cloudray technicians (who are quite available and responsive) via remote access so they can show me how to use it and what settings to adjust.
I'm starting to print a few parts, but progress is very slow.
I use Lightburn to vectorize files and then export them to use with RK CAD.
