I just set up the UV-P-5 laser but can’t do anything with it. I don’t see any applications to install on the USB drive. The only install that I can find is at LM1754462024001/Software/Software operating environment and that is a Microsoft Visual C++ redistribution. I see the CAD software exploded on the USB stick but no install program.
Ideally I want to be able to use Lightburn for surface work and the Cloudray CAD software for 3D work. I’d prefer to use a Mac but I also have a Windows 11 machine.
I’ve connected the laser controller to the computer using the provided Ethernet cable in conjuction with the supplied Ethernet to USB adapter. Lightburn can not detect the laser on Mac or Windows on USB and I can’t find any of the typical Lightburn configuration files anywhere on the USB drive. Finally, as previously stated, I can’t figure out how to install the Cloudray software.
Please advise.
