Origin, X-Axis Galvo, and backwards text

I have a Cloudray GM-100 and i’m running lightburn (MacOS), rotary d80

In lightburn my origin is at bottom left which in my brain would be front left on the laser workspace.

Everything i’ve engraved is done on rotary with rotation in the y direction or along the x-axis

With Galvo 2 as x-axis, the left area of lightburn is the left side of the laser workspace, but images and text are backwards of the workspace.

If i check the “reverse direction in lightburn setup for Galvo 2 the the origin switch on the laser to the back right. The text is now correct but in lightburn my origin on the screen is bottom left but origin as engraved is back right. This corrects the issue of engraving backwards but now i’m design and layout in one orientation and outputing in the opposite.

I’m sure something s set wrong but i’ve been playing with this for 2 days and cant get there.

Ok so I found the solution and I’ll post it for everyone who comes after me that has the same issue. Under the rotary setup there is a reverse rotation switch which causes the rotary to spin counterclockwise. So if your rotary is on the left side of the laser select the reverse switch. If its on the right side of the laser leave that off.
