I ran my laser for the first time and forgot to remove the lens cap. Now I am not getting great markings (they are very faint if at all) and seeing very little laser action when marking. The lens does have a big spot in the middle now from the cap incident. What should I do?
May you take a picture? you may need to replace the lens.
You can see where I circled the issue on the glass. This piece of glass is separate - can I just replace that? Would that be causing my problem where the laser is not firing so well?
I don’t recommend you replace the glass directly, you can buy a new f-theta lens which is very cheap
