CR90 with a 130-150W

I thought I was doing the smart think to future proof my PSU but I don’t know if is possible to reduce a 130-150 PSU to work safely with a CR90 tube.

Until now I am on alignment step. So I haven’t use it more that 20. I am going to try to reduce the mA on 50% to be around 11mA so on 100% to be 22-23mA that is on the safe range of the tube.

But I wanted to ask if that low is possible and also if is safe for the PSU?
