I occasionally get a customer with a small broken screw (.15” diameter) that needs to be extracted. Has anyone ever used your laser to cut a slot for a screwdriver? I’m running the QS-50.
If so, what settings did you use?
You can try it with a same kind of screw before doin the real job.
Make a bit shorter then the screw and use a smaller screwdriver.
It can be done . Setting dependent of the material.
Start with a freg of 25 to 45 and start with a higer speed like 2000
And lower the speed untill its removing without starting to meld. the material.
