I acquired an older FSL Hobby Series machine. Everything works just fine, Laser fires ( Looks to have a Cloudray 35w tube inside) , X and Y axis moves just fine, Limit switches and all safety interlocks ( coolant flow, enclosure opening )
FSL’s proprietary software is ABSOLUTELY garbage. Clunky as hell, and works like shit. I already have a 50w Gweike Cloud laser and Lightburn software.
What I am wanting to so is ditch the FSL’s controller and update it to something that I can run the machine with Lightburn. I was looking at using this.

Would this work for what I am wanting to do?
Appreciate any technical help. Would love to get this machine operational with a better system vs the hot garbage it has now.
