# Ruida 6432 Controller limit problems

Hi Iam upgrading the laser with 6432 controller. I have connected the limit switches and they work (red on diagnostic screen) but not turn off the motors. Also X motor works in opposite directions to the controller. What can be done with that?

These need to be wired to the - limit inputs (LmtX- and LmtY-) … I can’t tell how you wired them to the + or - inputs from your statement.
Need to ensure homing is enabled for the specified axes within the Ruida…
I assume you mean _ **home** _ switches… to use homing and limits, requires 6 switches.

Axes motor directions can also be changed in the Ruida.
